Elastic EliCoreTwist®:

We can provide you with a special core-yarn device for short- and long-staple ring spinning frames, which feeds a filament to the delivery roller of the EliTop (=front top roller of the drafting system).

EliCoreTwist® with compact-spun fibre sheath delivers you outstanding yarn characteristics and is far superior to conventional core-yarns. This is due to its covering effect and properties in subsequent processing steps.

Through the use of an inverter, filament tension draft can be adjusted infinitely. Optional sensors monitor the filament feed and indicate any possible interruptions. The EliCore®Rollers, which are positively driven by the top rollers, can be individually set and consequently they will ensure an exact concentric filament feed into the twisting triangle. The positioning of the filament feed is quite simple compared to single core-yarns.

The unique characteristic of EliCore®Rollers is the patented notch that reaches under the guide groove. This makes it easy for you to remove filament laps without damaging the surface of the guide groove.

Rigid EliCoreTwist®:

Rigid EliCoreTwist® also offers you a considerably better filament covering than conventional core-yarn.

Its main advantage is the outstanding yarn slippage resistance. Many of our customers are particularly interested in reducing long-hairiness.

Rigid EliCoreTwist® is either produced with our EliCore®Rollers or simple filament yarn-guides, depending on the specific needs of the customer. In both cases, the filament feed is inflexible, i.e. no traverse motion is applied.
