CITME 2006 Review (08.11.2006)
Location: Hall 5, Booth i01 (Swiss Pavilion)
The four suppliers of leading edge technology, SUESSEN, Bräcker, Novibra and Graf shared a common booth of 240m² under the heading of TCC – Technology Components and Conversions.
The SUESSEN innovations EliTwist® and EliCoreTwist® were shown producing a worsted yarn Nm 96/2. They ran flawlessly, despite the unfavourable atmospheric conditions prevalent in the exhibiton hall, and were the center of much attention!
Of course in addition to this, SUESSEN had its full range of high technology parts and components on exhibit.
While the number of visitors could naturally not be compared to the ITMA Asia, it still was very good! Unsurprisingly, most visitors were from China, but also good crowds of Indians and Pakistani were attending the show and visiting our booth. We had many good contacts, serious discussions of projects, and we could even conclude some orders.
Our partner JINGWEI had by far the largest booth at the CITME, over 2,000m². Focal points on his booth were the cooperation products F 1581 EliTe®, a long ring spinning frame equipped with SUESSEN’s EliTe®CompactSet, and the F 1681 OE machine, equipped with the SUESSEN SpinBox. This was the only fully automated Chinese OE machine on display anywhere!
A number of OEMs showed their ring spinning machines equipped with our HP-GX 3010 top weighting arms.
Despite some comments to the contrary, China continues to be the largest market for textile machinery in the world. On this show, SUESSEN convincingly managed to present itself as the supplier of choice for leading edge technology to both, our mill customers and our OEM customers.
