Celebrating the 2,000,000th EliTe®Compact Spindle (02.04.2007)
As already reported earlier, the 2,000,000th EliTe®Compact Spindle was delivered to our esteemed Turkish customer MATESA Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. In a little ceremony in the premises of Matesa A.Ş., Kahramanmaras, Turkey on March 27, the Owner of Matesa Mr. Galip Çalık received a symbolic award out of the hands of SUESSEN Area Sales Director Mr. Kaan Atsu.
Mr. Çalık proudly accepted the award mentioning the good luck to be chosen from among so many customers. Mr. Çalık presented to his guests the very new Matesa Company Video and answered questions of the representatives of the press attending the ceremony, concerning the Matesa company and expectations of compact ring spinning. A company tour followed by a joint lunch topped off the event.

Out of their total capacity of almost 70,000 conventional ring spindles the company now also processes top quality compact yarns for their own weaving and knitting facilities.
MATESA Tekstil A.Ş. was founded in Maras in 1989. Concentrating first on yarn manufacture, MATESA Tekstil A.Ş. today is one of the largest and strongest integrated textile companies in Turkey, employing more than 3000 workers.
The 4 four open-end facilities with over 12,000 rotors produce 1,400 tons of yarn per month; the 3 ring spinning facilities with almost 70,000 spindles deliver 1,200 tons. The range of our MATESA’s yarn production varies from Ne 6/1 to Ne 100/1: 100% cotton, mélange, viscose, polyester/viscose, cotton/polyester, acrylic/cotton, blended yarns with lycra and slub yarns. EliTe®Compact Yarn now completes the product range!
Past events celebrating sales figures of EliTe®Compact Spindles:
Only 1 ½ years ago during the ITMA Asia exhibition, October 2005 in Singapore, SUESSEN celebrated with their customers and friends the 1,000,000th EliTe®Compact Spindle, awarded to Mr. Ejaz of Ejaz Group of Companies, Pakistan.
Only 9 months ago in July 2006, SUESSEN honoured Super Spinning Mills Ltd. India with the 1,500,000th EliTe®Compact Spindle.
The very short period of time between these happy events convincingly shows that EliTe®Compact Spinning has been universally accepted as the preferred way to produce highest quality compact yarns, making SUESSEN the Number One in sales figures of compact spindles.
