The Active Cradle with PINSpacer NT (ACP) reduces yarn imperfections by up to 40%. It is available for most top weighting arms and consists of three elements: the Active Cradle, the Spacer NT and the PIN NT. With five different pins and ten different spacers, customers can easily choose the right combination, depending on the application. The Active Cradle has a spring-loaded edge. In case the top apron is stretched over time or tolerances are not perfect, this edge ensures that the top apron does not buckle. A high yarn evenness can thus be guaranteed.
As its name suggests, the PINSpacer NT consists of a PIN NT and a Spacer NT. 50 combinations of PIN NT and spacer are available to accommodate any requirements.
Thanks to its unique design, the Spacer NT can easily be attached to the PIN NT. The PIN NT penetrates the path of the fibers just before they reach the nipping line. The effect is similar to the one that is achieved with the well-known pressure bar on draw frames. By restricting the fiber flow to some extent, the PIN NT ensures a more even drafting, which results in fewer imperfections.
